Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Course
This course combines lecture instruction with hands-on field assignments covering pest identification, monitoring and scouting techniques, biological and chemical control strategies, pesticide safety, spray equipment calibration, and regulatory compliance.
The course also prepares participants for the California Private Applicator Certificate (PAC) exam and provides the knowledge needed to train pesticide handlers and fieldworkers in compliance with state and federal regulations.
No prior experience required.
Format: Hybrid
In-Person Field Days:
Monday August 31 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Monday October 19 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Live Online Lectures:
Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30 – 7 p.m.
On-Farm Labs: 16 hours of hands-on lab assignments
Cost: $575
